Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking a Senior Planner to lead planning and project controls for a major marine infrastructure project in Geraldton, WA. Based in the Perth CBD, you will develop and maintain robust schedules, monitor progress, and support delivery with engineering, construction and commercial teams.

You will bring a degree in engineering or a related field, substantial scheduling experience, and advanced Primavera P6 and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project planning and scheduling for infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of program logic, critical path analysis and project controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI reporting.
• Marine infrastructure experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor integrated project schedules aligned with milestones.
• Coordinate planning, progress measurement, schedule analysis, and reporting; identify risks and delays.
• Support project controls: earned value, metrics, forecasting.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement and commercial teams on scheduling solutions.
• Provide planning guidance and support to project teams; drive continuous improvement.
