Job summary

Legal Aid NSW is seeking a Senior People Partner in Sydney to drive strategic workforce initiatives and partner with senior leaders. You will guide leadership on performance, conduct and employee relations while balancing organisational needs with staff wellbeing.

You will work across a dispersed workforce, shaping workforce planning and leadership development while driving continuous improvements in HR practices and culture.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency.
• Willingness to travel to regional and metropolitan offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic workforce and people advice aligned with organisational objectives.
• Coach and support leaders to manage performance, conduct, workplace change and employee relations.
• Advise on complex and sensitive people matters balancing legal, operational, cultural and employee considerations.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and capability development initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR specialists to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Contribute to HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
