Job summary

Department of Families Fairness and Housing is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide authoritative HR advice and practical support to managers and staff across the organisation. You will partner with leaders to support workforce management, performance, recruitment and employee wellbeing, while developing People and Culture policies and continuous improvements.

You will identify emerging workforce risks, coach leaders, and drive projects to support SSR workforce priorities and change

Qualifications

• Provide sound HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with leaders to support workforce planning and performance.
• Develop and review People and Culture policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound, timely advice and navigate complex workforce matters across the lifecycle, ensuring policy compliance.
• Develop effective relationships with leaders and understand priorities.
• Coach people leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams.
• Collaborate across the People and Culture branch to deliver integrated HR services.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service quality.
• Deliver HR projects aligned with workforce priorities and organizational change.
• Prepare written documents for executives, policies, and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records in line with legislative requirements and privacy policies.
• Safely manage health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
