Job summary

Appreciating Talent is seeking a Payroll Officer to administer weekly payrolls for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals. You will handle master file changes, time and attendance, and adhoc payments, while supporting staff and managers with enquiries.

The candidate should have 3+ years in payroll processing, mandatory iChris experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and knowledge of E2E Australian payroll and MEA understanding.

Qualifications

• Three years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with iChris is mandatory.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Experience with End-to-End Australian payroll.
• Understanding of Multi Enterprise Agreement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer weekly payrolls for Australia and New Zealand, including master file changes, time and attendance data, ad hoc payments and leave processing.
• Generate payroll documents with variance analysis and annotate variances with reasons.
• Ensure payrolls are accurate and properly authorised.
• Process out-of-cycle payrolls and manual payments for resignations, terminations, retirements and redundancies.
• Liaise with HRBP and REM Team on adhoc reporting, payslips and separation certificates.
• Provide specific payroll reports to department.
