Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced payroll professional for a 12-month contract based in Sydney CBD with hybrid work options. You will handle daily payroll processing, support across multiple EBAs/Awards, and respond to complex payroll queries.

Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, the role involves UAT participation, SOP documentation, and assistance with STP file uploads. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years payroll experience.
• Must have ADP GlobalView or SAP Experience.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Be able to work in large, team environments.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile employee leave balances and entitlements between two HR/payroll systems.
• Participate in UAT for new system implementations or payroll-related changes.
• Document all payroll processes in detail, creating clear, standardized SOPs.
• Assist with Single Touch Payroll file uploads each pay run.
• Manage Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments.
• Maintain & monitor over payment register.
• Interpret a number of EBAs/Awards.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a global company on an intial twlve month contract. Along with assisting the every day payroll processing, this role will be across multiple EBA's/Awards and asssiting with any complex payroll queries. The office is located in Sydney CBD and you'll have the opportunity to WFH once settled.
