Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our global team in Sydney on a twelve-month contract, with potential for WFH after settle-in. You will support daily payroll processing across multiple EBAs/Awards and handle complex queries.

Based in Sydney CBD with flexible working arrangements, you will reconcile leave balances, assist with UAT, and document payroll processes in detailed SOPs while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of STP file uploads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years payroll experience.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Be able to work in large, team environments.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile employee leave balances and entitlements between two HR/payroll systems.
• Participate in UAT for new system implementations or payroll-related changes.
• Document all payroll processes in detail, creating clear, standardized SOPs.
• Assisting with Single Touch Payroll file uploads each pay run.
• Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments.
• Maintaining & monitoring over payment register.
• Interpreting a number of EBAs/Awards.
