Job summary

AccountAbility Recruitment is assisting a global organisation in recruiting a Senior Payroll Officer for the North Sydney area. You will manage end-to-end payrolls for ANZ, including Australia and New Zealand, while supporting system upgrades and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have ADP GlobalView or SAP Payroll experience, strong knowledge of Awards and EBAs, and the ability to work closely with Payroll, HR and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end payroll experience using ADP GlobalView or SAP is essential.
• Strong understanding of Awards, EBAs, payroll legislation, tax and superannuation requirements.
• Kronos experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls across Australia and New Zealand.
• End-to-end payroll processing ensuring compliance with Awards, EBAs and legislation.
• Assisting with system queries, testing and enhancements projects.
• Support payroll and HR teams with payroll systems and process-related queries.
• Month-end reporting and calculations including PAYG, Superannuation, Workers Compensation and labour costing reports.
• Maintain employee payroll records and leave entitlements.
• Work closely with Payroll, HR and Finance stakeholders.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, team training and system upgrades.
• Support audit requirements and payroll compliance activities.

• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
