  • Respond to payroll queries via the shared inbox in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with complex enterprise agreement provisions and relevant legislation, including long service leave, parental leave top-ups, and other entitlements.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis.

  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll policies, procedures, and controls are adhered to.
  • Support audits and compliance checks as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements in a highly manual payroll environment.
The Person
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll independently.
  • Strong systems knowledge; experience with Connx MicroPay is highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data reconciliation).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly and professionally.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including long service leave and parental leave.
  • Experience working with enterprise agreements in a complex environment.
Additional Information
  • A 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension / permanency later down the line (not guaranteed).
