Job summary

Suncare Community Services in Maroochydore, QLD, is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to deliver end‑to‑end payroll for 800+ staff across fortnightly and Directors monthly cycles. You will apply awards, manage changes, and ensure compliance across PAYG, FBT, STP, superannuation and more, working closely with Payroll Services and Finance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Apply awards, agreements and contracts so each pay reflects the work behind it.
• Manage payroll changes end to end, including leave, super and salary packaging.
• Keep payroll compliant across PAYG, FBT, STP, superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation.
• Reconcile payroll, submit third‑party payments and follow issues through to resolution.
• Deliver month‑end and year‑end reporting with the Payroll Services and Finance teams.
