Job summary

Dovida in Australia is seeking a senior payroll leader to mentor a team of 3–4 payroll officers and support offices nationwide.

You will deliver end-to-end payroll, interpret awards and agreements, ensure STP, superannuation and LSL compliance, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll and in a senior or similar role.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong award and enterprise agreement interpretation, with a sound understanding of superannuation and long service leave legislation.
• Experience with Aurion payroll system is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 to 4 Payroll Officers.
• Support the Payroll Operations and Systems Manager in delivering payroll operations.
• Maintain specialist knowledge of payroll practices, legislation, and awards interpretation.
• Complete compliance lodgments for STP, superannuation, and Portable LSL.
• Prepare payroll reporting for management as required.
• Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes.

About this opportunity

You will be a senior member of our national payroll team, mentoring and coaching payroll officers and supporting our offices across Australia

• Support the Payroll Operations and Systems Manager in the delivery of effective and efficient payrolloperations
• Act as a point of escalation and lead a team of 3 to 4 Payroll Officers
• Maintain specialist knowledge of Payroll Practices, Employment Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
• Complete all necessary compliance lodgments for single touch payroll, superannuation, and Portable LSL
• Prepare payroll reporting for management as required
• Drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processes
