Job summary

Laydigo Group is seeking an accounts and payroll coordinator to oversee and streamline payroll and financial processes across its medical, disability support and child safety services. You will work with Finance, Operations and HR to ensure accurate payroll, invoicing and day-to-day financial operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar position, strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and modern awards, and experience across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts and payroll role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and modern awards.
• Experience managing payroll and accounts across multiple entities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience using Xero, ShiftCare and Employment Hero is highly regarded.
• Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate accounts and payroll across multiple entities.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing using Xero, ShiftCare and Employment Hero.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with legislation and awards.
• Oversee weekly NDIS invoicing, client billing and accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with SIL and Community Access managers for invoicing and funding.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and aged receivables and follow up.
• Assist with accounts payable, bank reconciliations and Payday Super compliance.
• Respond to payroll, invoicing and accounts enquiries from managers and staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
