Sansoni Management Group Pty Ltd is seeking a stand-alone Payroll Manager / Payroll Officer to own the full payroll function across multiple entities. This role manages fortnightly payroll for ~100 employees, ensures compliance with Australian payroll legislation, and acts as the primary contact for payroll enquiries.

The position offers a flexible part-time arrangement (approximately 2–3 days per week in-office) in South Melbourne, with opportunities to drive process improvements and scale

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and Fair Work.
• Experience across multiple entities or growing organisations.
• Hands-on experience using Employment Hero HR and Payroll (essential).
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Process accurate and timely fortnightly payroll across approximately 100 employees.
• Manage payroll across multiple business entities and employee groups.
• Administer superannuation, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, WorkCover, and statutory obligations.
• Perform payroll account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll reports and support payroll-related financial reporting requirements.
• Maintain employee payroll records, leave balances, and entitlements.
• Manage payroll onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
• Respond to payroll enquiries and provide support to employees and management.
• Ensure payroll compliance with awards, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements and efficiencies.
• Maintain and optimise Employment Hero HR and Payroll systems.
• Coordinate year-end payroll reporting and compliance activities.
