Job summary

Coliban Water is seeking a Senior Operator to oversee operation, maintenance and renewal of water, sewer and recycled water service connections. The role balances hands‑on duties with technical leadership and customer service to support over 181,000 customers in the region.

You will mentor operators, coordinate field activities, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to reliable service delivery while advancing professional standards within the team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of water, sewer and recycled water service connection assets.
• Lead and deliver field-based activities for customer service faults and asset maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and planned works to restore customer services within service levels.
• Operate plant, equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete work orders, inspections and asset records accurately and on time.
