Job summary

Glencore Australia is inviting applications for a Senior Mining Supervisor at Bulga Open Cut, near Singleton, NSW. You will lead a high-performing crew of 100+ operators, directing mining activities to meet the mine plan while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role requires a NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate, extensive open cut coal experience, and proven leadership capabilities to develop and mentor supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency and current practicing certificate.
• Extensive experience in open cut coal environments.
• Proven leadership and ability to lead a diverse team.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.

The role:

• Provide leadership & direction to a high performing mining team

About you:

• NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency & current practicing certificate
• Extensive experience in open cut coal environment
• Experience in a complex mining situation such as steep dipping seems and underground workings
• Proven leadership capabilities and ability to lead a diverse team
• Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across all departments
