Job summary

Glencore is seeking a Senior Mining Supervisor to lead a high‑performing open cut mining team in the NSW Hunter Valley, near Singleton. You will drive the mine plan execution, mentor supervisors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate mining activities across crews of over 100 operators, provide technical guidance in complex mining areas, and foster strong cross‑department collaboration to deliver production targets.

Qualifications

• NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency and valid practicing certificate.
• Extensive experience in open cut coal mining.
• Experience in complex mining environments including steep dips and underground workings.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and drive continuous improvement.
