Job summary

Accenture Brisbane seeks a Security Engineer to maintain system health, configurations, and incident response across network and security platforms. You will configure Cisco routing/switching, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto security solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot BGP/OSPF/IPSec VPNs, manage Riverbed WAN optimization, and follow ITIL processes while coordinating with stakeholders. A tertiary IT qualification and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Helpdesk or engineering support experience in IT infrastructure.
• Ability to follow ITIL-aligned processes and vendor certifications preferred.
• CCNA desirable and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Cisco routing/switching and ISE, WLC, and ThousandEyes.
• Administer Cisco SD-WAN environments including vManage and policies.
• Configure Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect.
• Troubleshoot enterprise routing, BGP/OSPF/IPSec VPN, and WAN issues.
• Maintain Riverbed SteelHead for WAN performance and reliability.
• Resolve incidents and service requests across network and security platforms.
• Follow ITIL change, incident, and request management and communicate with stakeholders.
