Job summary
Chubb Fire & Security Australia is seeking a Network & Telecommunications Engineer to maintain secure, high-performance networks and telephony within the Monitoring unit in Sydney. You will drive upgrades and collaborate with our Global Network team to ensure 24/7 support and strong resilience.
The role requires 5+ years’ hands-on network experience, Cisco CUCM/UCCX/CUBE skills, and relevant certifications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network engineering and telecommunications experience.
- CCNP/CCIE/CISSP/ITIL certifications are highly desirable.
- Australian Citizenship or PR and ability to obtain security licence.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Networking or STEM field.
- Experience in a complex/global organisation and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver rapid incident resolution for 24/7 networks, telephony and enterprise apps.
- Implement maintenance protocols: backups, patching, upgrades, health checks.
- Architect and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructures.
- Oversee core network systems administration and performance optimization.
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders and maintain documentation, disaster recovery planning.
