Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Cisco Telephony & Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise voice and unified communications solutions. You will work on BAU support, project delivery, and optimisation of Cisco Collaboration and core network environments.

The role covers Cisco Unified Communications, VoIP, SIP trunks, dial plans, gateways, and monitoring to ensure high-performance voice quality, connectivity, and network reliability in a large Australian organisation with

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Cisco Collaboration platforms (CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, Webex Calling).
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (Catalyst, VXLAN/EVPN, wireless).
• Proven expertise managing SIP trunks, dial plans, gateways, and enterprise voice configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP environments
• Administer Cisco voice platforms, call routing, dial plans, and system upgrades
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice quality, connectivity, and network performance issues
• Maintain telephony, call flow, and core network technical documentation
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives
