Job summary

Data#3 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join its Managed Services team in Australia. You will deliver value-based network solutions, manage documentation, and analyse customer environments to drive efficiency and cost savings.

You will operate within ITIL processes, resolve incidents to target SLAs, and perform datacentre visits for troubleshooting and upgrades, working across Fortinet, Cisco, and other leading platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proficient in security platforms and firewall management.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and WAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with value solutions to meet their needs within Data#3's delivery capability.
• Produce, manage and adhere to documentation such as site schematics and change control docs.
• Analyse customer environments and make proactive recommendations to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Operate customer environments within ITIL framework including Change, Incident, Problem and Capacity management.
• Resolve incidents, problems and requests to target SLAs.
• Liaise with customers for incident analysis and resolution, defining and recommending solutions where no precedent exists.
• Manage time to complete tasks within agreed SLA and time frames.
• Perform datacentre visits for troubleshooting, upgrades, and business requirements fulfilment.

Data#3 Managed Services team is growing! And we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customers with value solutions, to meet their needs, within Data#3's delivery capability.
• Produce, manage and adhere to documentation e.g. site schematics, change control documents.
• Analyse customer environments and make proactive recommendations to improve efficiency, performance and/or reduce costs.
• Operate customer environments within the ITIL quality framework including Change, Incident, Problem and Capacity management.
• Resolve customer incidents, problems and requests to required service level targets.
• Liaise with customers to perform incident analysis and problem resolution management, to required service targets, defining and recommending appropriate technology solutions where no precedent solution is available.
• Manage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLA and time frames.
• Perform datacentre visits for troubleshooting failures, perform upgrades, and fulfil business requirements.
