Job summary

Data#3 Limited is seeking a technically skilled network professional to deliver enterprise networking and data centre solutions across WAN, LAN, and cloud environments in Australia. The role involves hands-on design, documentation, and engagement with clients at all levels.

The successful candidate will contribute to presales, solution design, and complex deployments, including SDN, network security, and identity-based access controls, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Aruba routing, switching and wireless, enterprise network security technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar), and identity-based networking including 802.1X, NAC, ClearPass and ISE.
• Experience delivering network refreshes and migrations, large-scale wireless deployments, and secure access and segmentation solutions.
• Experience facilitating client workshops and engaging stakeholders.
• Strong network design knowledge, documentation skills, and communication skills.

What will I be doing?

Which experience will I need?

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Aruba routing, switching and wireless, enterprise network security technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar), and identity-based networking including 802.1X, NAC, ClearPass and ISE.
• Proven experience delivering network refreshes and migrations, large-scale wireless deployments, and secure access and segmentation solutions.
• Experience facilitating client workshops and engaging stakeholders.
• Strong network design knowledge, documentation skills, and communication skills.

Highlyregarded:

• Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams.
• Network automation or scripting (Python, TCL, Perl).
• Experience with Palo Alto, Citrix, F5, Dell or Fortinet technologies.
• VMware, Hyper‑V or KVM.

Qualifications:

• Relevant IT degree (desirable).
• Cisco, Aruba and/or Palo Alto certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Current Australian Department of Defence Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
