Job summary

Synechron is seeking experienced Fullstack .Net Developers for a Sydney-based contract role. You will design scalable, secure solutions focusing on Financial Crime domains such as AML, KYC, and fraud detection.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, governance, and roadmaps while driving modernization using microservices and cloud-native patterns. The role requires strong .NET/.NET Core proficiency, 10+ years in software engineering, and experience delivering in regulated

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or enterprise architecture.
• Proven .NET / .NET Core delivery in financial services.
• Experience with microservices, cloud, and secure architectures.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, fraud detection or regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture solutions for Financial Crime platforms.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define architecture standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Lead modernization using microservices and cloud-native approaches.
• Provide architectural guidance across the SDLC.
• Ensure security, performance, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive integration across enterprise systems and data platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews and technology evaluations.
