Job summary

Synechron in Sydney seeks a Solution Architect with strong Financial Crime technology experience and a .NET background. You will design scalable, secure solutions supporting AML, KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and fraud prevention.

You will provide technical leadership across .NET/C#, APIs, microservices and cloud platforms (Azure), collaborating with business, compliance, engineering and delivery teams to ensure security, performance and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect in banking/financial services or Fin Crime.
• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud or transaction monitoring.
• Hands-on expertise with .NET, C#, REST APIs, SQL and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Design integrations across financial crime platforms, core banking systems, and data services.
• Provide technical leadership across .NET/C#, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, engineering, and delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and governance standards.
• Produce architecture documentation, technology roadmaps, and design decisions.
