Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to help shape the Xero Accounting App, our flagship mobile experience used by small businesses around the world to manage their finances wherever work takes them. You will own complex features end to end, contribute to technical design, and help transition the mobile architecture toward React Native while leveraging deep native expertise in iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• Strong experience shipping production mobile apps on iOS and Android (Swift/Kotlin).
• Experience with React Native is a plus and willingness to drive the architecture toward RN.

Responsibilities

• Own complex mobile features end-to-end from idea to production and measurement.
• Help transition mobile architecture toward React Native while preserving performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, backend and platform teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Mentor and review code to raise engineering standards and accelerate delivery.
