Job summary

Foxleigh Mine is seeking experienced Senior Supervisors to lead the mining team at our Bowen Basin operation. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will provide direction and oversight to ensure the safe, compliant and productive delivery of the mine plan across shifts.

You are a proven mining leader with open-cut experience, strong knowledge of legislation and risk management, and the ability to coach multidisciplinary teams toward high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in an open-cut mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, risk, and compliance.
• Experience coaching and mentoring Supervisors and crews.
• Ability to plan, coordinate resources and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Supervisors, Operators and Contractors to meet safety and production targets.
• Ensure activities comply with legislation, site standards and critical controls.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to deliver the mine plan.
• Provide senior operational leadership across shifts and manage safety and business-critical issues.
• Collaborate with site functions to drive continuous improvement.
