Job summary

Foxleigh Mine is seeking a seasoned Drill & Blast Crew Supervisor to lead the mining team's blasting activities with a safety-first approach. Reporting to the Mine Services Superintendent, you will supervise daily production, ensure compliance with legislative and site requirements, and drive continuous improvement in blast quality.

You'll collaborate with Mining, Technical Services and Drill & Blast teams to plan, coordinate loading, blasting and post-blast inspections while fostering a strong

Qualifications

• Current Open C Class Driver's Licence.
• Standard 11 Surface Coal Induction.
• S1, S2, S3 and G2 Supervisor Competencies (or ability to obtain).
• Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence (or ability to obtain).
• Current Queensland Coal Mine Workers' Health Assessment.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within an open-cut coal mining operation.
• Previous experience supervising Blast Crew or Drill and Blast personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Drill & Blast crews to safely deliver daily production activities.
• Ensure blasting activities comply with legislative, statutory and site requirements.
• Coordinate blast preparation, explosive loading, firing and post-blast inspections.

Drill & Blast Crew Supervisor

The Role

Foxleigh Mine is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Drill & Blast Supervisor to join our Drill and Blast team. Reporting to the Mine Services Superintendent, you will play a key leadership role in supervising and coordinating the safe, efficient and compliant execution of drill and blast activities across the mine operation.

The role provides an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, contribute directly to production outcomes and drive continuous improvement in safety, blast quality and operational performance.

About You
