Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator MEP / Cost Planner to lead total project estimates and manage risk analysis across high-tech projects. You will develop plans, coordinate with teams, and maintain local rate libraries to ensure cost predictability and value.

You should have 6+ years in estimating within construction, read MEP drawings, and be skilled with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX. Relocation and chartered status support available.

Qualifications

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 6+ years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment.
• Understand MEP systems and can read services drawings and schematics.
• Proficient across all stages of estimating, peer reviews and benchmarking.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis with contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity per guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
