Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for data centre projects in Melbourne. You will join a dynamic, international team delivering cost certainty and value across pre- and post-contract activities.

You will prepare estimates, cost plans, and final accounts, support tender analysis, and manage project spend with clear reporting. Travel for client meetings is expected; interviews may be in person or virtual.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
• Chartered or on the path to complete it; support available.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the settlement of disputes and loss/expense claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial, change orders and contract issues promptly and fairly.
• Assist in final accounts and claims to secure best value for the client.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support project management with cost documentation and timely communication.
• Participate in tender/bid processes from docs to reporting.
• Oversee spend with valuations and cost reports, noting variations clearly.
