Job summary

ING Australia in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Issues, Events & Remediation to lead a team responsible for incident, event and remediation management across Mortgages, Consumer Lending and Insurance, ensuring timely regulatory responses and strong customer outcomes.

You will deliver high-quality reporting to executives, drive governance, and influence risk decisions in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong incident, event or issue management experience.
• Exceptional executive communication skills and ability to brief senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for incident, event and remediation management across Mortgages, Consumer Lending and Insurance.
• Oversee end-to-end management of significant incidents and regulatory responses with timely escalation.
• Deliver high-quality reporting to executives and leadership forums showing risk, incidents and remediation progress.
• Coordinate regulatory responses and reviews, driving timely outcomes.
