Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Senior Manager in Group Credit Structuring to lead credit strategies for Regional & Agribusiness customers. You will assess financial positions, determine pathways forward, and guide decisions end-to-end while managing risk and regulatory compliance.

You’ll supervise at least one direct report, engage with customers in difficulty, and apply deep credit and commercial judgement to structuring, negotiations and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bring business, commercial or agribusiness credit experience to assess risk and determine options.
• Apply advanced financial analysis and credit assessment to make sound decisions in complex situations.
• Communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, with stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop at least one direct report, building capability and team culture.
• Engage with customers in financial difficulty with care and consideration.
• Conduct robust financial and credit analysis to identify viable options.
• Develop and execute strategies spanning rehabilitation, turnaround, restructuring, insolvency, or exit as appropriate.
• Lead negotiations with customers and stakeholders.
• Own credit strategies from decision to execution, adapting as circumstances change.
• Balance customer outcomes with credit risk and regulatory obligations.
• Provide credit monitoring and policy guidance to Risk teams and partners.
