Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Manager, Group Credit Structuring (Commercial Banking) for Brisbane or Sydney. You will own complex customer strategies through assessment, decision and execution, focusing on recovery, turnaround and financial restructuring for business customers with facilities from $1.5m to $20m.

You’ll apply advanced credit and structuring skills, negotiate with stakeholders, and balance customer outcomes with prudent risk management in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in business or commercial credit assessment.
• Strong financial analysis capability with commercial judgement.
• Experience with turnaround, restructuring or insolvency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with business customers experiencing financial difficulty and assess options.
• Conduct robust financial and credit analysis to understand position.
• Develop and execute customer strategies across rehabilitation, turnaround, restructuring and insolvency or exit.
• Lead sensitive negotiations with customers and stakeholders.
• Exercise sound credit judgement in complex situations.
• Take ownership of strategies from decision through execution.
• Provide credit monitoring, reporting and policy guidance to Risk teams.
• Balance customer outcomes with risk management and regulatory obligations.
