Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Manager, Group Credit Structuring (Commercial Banking) for two positions in Brisbane and Sydney. You will work with business customers facing financial difficulty, applying strong credit and restructuring expertise to navigate complex scenarios from assessment to execution.

You’ll develop advanced credit and structuring capability, lead negotiations and provide guidance across risk teams and business partners, while balancing customer outcomes with prudent risk

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit, banking, restructuring or insolvency.
• Strong analytical ability with commercial judgement and client focus.
• Capability to manage complex customer scenarios and negotiate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Engage directly with business customers experiencing financial difficulty, considering individual circumstances.
• Conduct robust financial and credit analysis to understand position and options.
• Develop and execute customer strategies across rehabilitation, turnaround, financial restructuring and, where appropriate, insolvency or exit.
• Lead sensitive negotiations with customers and stakeholders.
• Exercise sound credit judgement in evolving situations with no straightforward solution.
• Take ownership of agreed strategies from decision through to execution and monitor progress.
