Job summary

Brisbane Youth Service is seeking a strategic leader to provide high-level oversight across its programs and housing support for young people and families. You will drive quality, effectiveness and innovation aligned with our values and strategic plan, overseeing frontline service delivery while managing complex projects and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or comparable qualification.
• Experience in community services management across youth, housing, homelessness, family, health or DFV services.
• Strong frontline service leadership skills and knowledge of relevant legislation and DFV responses.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategic leadership and operational oversight across BYS programs and service delivery.
• Lead programs and housing support for young women and/or mums, young men/dads, and young families; ensure quality, effectiveness and innovation.
• Apply trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches; engage stakeholders; monitor risk, financial and program performance.
