Job summary

Australian Medical Council Limited in Canberra is seeking a leader to oversee accreditation and monitoring of CPD home providers and programs. You will coordinate assessment teams, prepare committee papers, and advise on standards and policy while managing portfolios and budgets.

You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead a small team, ensuring culturally safe practices across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in accreditation, regulation, policy or program management.
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience leading staff with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical judgement and risk management for complex information.
• Commitment to cultural safety and inclusive engagement with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead accreditation and monitoring of CPD home providers and programs.
• Oversee CPD Home Accreditation Advisory Committee work program and coordinate assessment teams.
• Prepare and approve high-quality committee papers, reports and recommendations; advise on standards and policies.
• Manage portfolio reporting, data quality, budgets and resources.
• Build productive relationships with internal teams, providers, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a small team; collaborate with Indigenous Policy and Programs to embed culturally safe practices.
