Job summary

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is seeking a Program Officer to support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs within the Professional Practice team. You will deliver CPD activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with Fellows and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality educational offerings.

You will coordinate content development, manage timelines, and contribute to program evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or experience in communications, education, research, medical education, e-learning, or health.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and information literacy capabilities.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels and build relationships.
• Comfort working independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) and meeting them.
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support for the CPD program and promote CPD products and services.
• Administer CPD activities according to the CPD year requirements, including incompletes, audits, and verified activities.
• Respond to inbound queries from members and stakeholders; log issues.
• Coordinate with committees, working groups, and subject matter experts; draft agendas, minutes, and activity plans.
• Support continuous improvement of processes to ensure consistent program outcomes.
• Manage content production processes and broader resource development scheduling.
• Conduct research, industry scans, and literature reviews to inform program needs.
• Collaborate with program partners to improve and deliver the program.
• Assist in the design and build phase of CPD content and resources.
