Job summary

Informatech is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to join a major Federal Government transformation program in Canberra. You will deliver migration and implementation across a new Microsoft 365 tenant within a large enterprise environment.

Collaborating with architects and business stakeholders, you will configure Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID, and drive identity and access management controls, testing and documentation throughout the delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID.
• Experience with tenant-to-tenant migration activities and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 clearance is required to be considered for this role.

We're seeking experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Engineers to join a major Federal Government transformation program, supporting the implementation and migration of Microsoft 365 services into a new tenant environment.

This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud modernisation initiative, delivering secure, scalable and modern workplace capabilities across a complex enterprise environment. You'll work closely with architects, technical specialists and business stakeholders to plan and execute Microsoft 365 migration activities while ensuring a seamless transition for end users.

We can offer this role either as a 12 month contract or permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver technical implementation, administration and migration activities across a new Microsoft 365 tenant.

Configure, administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

About You

You'll be an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with strong hands‑on implementation and migration experience within enterprise environments. You will have:

Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and migration projects.

Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID.

Experience with tenant‑to‑tenant migration activities and Microsoft 365 administration.

Knowledge of identity and access management principles and Microsoft security best practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across Microsoft 365 technologies.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Previous Australian Federal Government experience will be highly regarded.

Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 clearance is required to be considered for this role.
