Job summary

A Federal Government Department in Australia is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer/Cloud Engineer to lead the implementation and migration of Microsoft 365 services to a new environment.

This initial contract runs until June 2027 with a 12-month extension option and offers a lucrative hourly rate. You will configure Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot and Entra ID, and manage identity and access controls.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, administrating, and migrating to M365 environments.
• Ability to configure identity and access management in Microsoft 365.
• Collaboration with project teams, architects, vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot, and Entra ID.
• Execute migration activities for user identities, SharePoint Online sites, and OneDrive data with testing and remediation.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver project outcomes in a government environment.
