Job summary

Informatech is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Specialist to support a major M365 transformation program within a Federal Government entity in Canberra.

The role will implement and migrate to a modern M365 environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, well-governed collaboration solutions while minimising disruption to operations. Australian citizenship and an active NV1 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated M365 implementation, configuration and migration.
• Expertise across SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams.
• Experience with Entra ID, Power Automate/Logic Apps, Power BI, Intune.
• Automation skills using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance and security in M365.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.

Informatech is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Specialist to support a major M365 transformation program within a Federal Government entity.

This role will play a key part in the implementation and migration to a modern M365 environment, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, well-governed and effective collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure M365 solutions aligned with best practices across collaboration, security and governance.
• Work with technical and business teams to plan and deliver complex M365 solutions while minimising disruption to business operations.
• Plan, execute and troubleshoot M365 migration activities.
• Provide expert technical advice across the M365 platform and emerging best practices.
• Conduct post-migration reviews to identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support the successful delivery of program outcomes.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience delivering and migrating solutions within complex M365 environments, including:

• Demonstrated experience in M365 implementation, configuration and migration.
• Strong technical expertise across SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Teams and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with adjacent technologies including Entra ID, Access Packages, Power Automate or Logic Apps, Power BI and Intune.
• Strong automation capability using PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of records governance, compliance and security within M365 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
