Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services seeks a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft 365 Administration & Support to engineer, configure, and operate core M365 and Azure environments within a high-security program. The role is a 12-month contract in Canberra with potential extensions to 2029, and requires Australian citizenship with NV1 security clearance.

Key responsibilities include M365 engineering, identity & access management, Azure administration, security & governance, plus L2/L3 operational support

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Advanced Microsoft Entra ID management (CA policies, MFA, privileged access).
• Azure subscription management, RBAC, networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and operate core M365 services.
• Implement and maintain identity controls with Entra ID.
• Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, and RBAC.
• Enforce security baselines and compliance in governance.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and incident resolution.
• Maintain technical runbooks and audit-ready documentation.
