Anna Thomas in Melbourne is seeking a National Retail Manager to lead 10 stores across Victoria, NSW, WA and the ACT. You will build high-performing teams, recruit and develop Store Managers, and drive sustainable sales growth through exceptional customer service.

The role focuses on coaching, performance management, and establishing a customer-first culture, with accountability for budgeting, KPIs, and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium fashion retail.
• Proven multi-site management capability across multiple locations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Financial accountability and budget management experience.
• Ability to recruit, mentor and retain staff across stores.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of sales outcomes across 10 stores and implement strategies to meet/exceed budgets.
• Drive sales growth through exceptional customer engagement and service; monitor KPIs (sales, conversion, AOV, units per transaction).
• Identify opportunities to improve store profitability and productivity; hold Store Managers accountable for performance.
• Lead recruitment and selection of high-quality retail talent across all locations and ensure staffing levels.
• Develop, coach and mentor Store Managers and teams; build leadership pipeline and succession plans.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and performance with improvement plans when needed.
• Establish and maintain exceptional customer service standards across all stores; foster a customer-first culture.
• Coach teams to deliver personalized, engaging, professional customer experiences; monitor feedback and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews; ensure stores maintain presentation, merchandising and visual standards.
• Develop seasonal business plans with managers; set clear sales targets and provide regular performance reporting to senior management.
