Job summary

Sedgwick Brisbane is seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join the MCL Property team. You will resolve insurance claims, assess loss, liability and quantum while coordinating remediation and reinstatement efforts. The role involves proactive client communication and mentoring junior colleagues.

Reporting to the Head of MCL - Property, you will work in a dynamic environment handling domestic and commercial losses, with opportunities for growth within Sedgwick’s global network.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in insurance loss adjusting or equivalent AQF IV
• ANZIIF or AICLA qualification required
• Knowledge of processing insurance claims and associated regulations
• Experience with domestic and commercial losses
• Strong service delivery to insurers, customers and brokers

Responsibilities

• Resolve insurance claims, determine cause, liability and quantum
• Proactive communication with client about findings and solutions
• Lead remediation/reinstatement of damaged property including emergencies
• Verify loss details and quantify reinstatement work
• Coach and mentor junior staff
