Job summary

BOQ Group is seeking a Senior Analyst, Line 1 Risk, to partner with business leaders and ensure effective risk management across divisions. The role targets strengthening controls, supporting change initiatives and maturing risk practices while collaborating with Group Risk and Compliance.

The candidate will help identify emerging risks, assess impacts and maintain risk profiles, contributing to governance, reporting and cross-functional risk initiatives across the three lines of defence.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management environments, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
• Ability to identify emerging issues, root causes and provide actionable solutions.
• Strong communication to build trusted relationships across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to ensure effective risk management across divisions.
• Develop and maintain risk profiles and participate in risk assessments.
• Contribute to control design, testing, and change initiatives across the organisation.
