Job summary

BOQ Group is seeking a Manager, Compliance to lead independent oversight and challenge across our customer‑facing and group divisions. You will work with Line 1 and Line 2 teams to embed regulatory obligations into decisions and operations.

You will analyse risk events, change programs and regulatory updates, providing SME input and governance reporting to strengthen compliance outcomes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in Line 1 Risk or Line 2 Compliance in banking/financial services.
• Strong regulatory knowledge across Corporations Act, ASIC Act, National Credit Code, Banking Code.
• Proven ability to independently drive compliance initiatives and regulatory change.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight, advice and constructive challenge across customer facing and group functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map obligations into processes and controls.
• Review risk events, incidents, and breaches to identify themes and conduct risk focus areas.
• Support governance reporting and uplift the Compliance Risk Management Framework.
