Job summary

BOQ Group is seeking a Senior Analyst, Line 1 Risk, to join our Melbourne team on a 12 month max term basis. You will partner with business leaders to ensure risks are identified, assessed and controlled across divisions, acting as a trusted adviser to strengthen the control environment.

You will work with Group Risk (Line 2), Compliance and other teams to develop risk profiles, support risk assessments and help embed pragmatic risk practices throughout change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management or related discipline.
• At least three years' experience in risk management.
• Experience with risk frameworks, risk assessments and control effectiveness activities.
• Exposure to Technology, Cybersecurity or Financial Crime Operations is beneficial.
• Qualifications such as FRM, PRM or CPA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify, assess and manage risk across divisions.
• Provide practical risk guidance and help strengthen controls and governance.
• Support change initiatives and contribute to risk assessments and risk profiles.
• Develop and maintain risk profiles and carry out risk assessments.
• Help build risk capability through coaching, guidance and training.
