UNSW Canberra is seeking a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Stratospheric Physics to join the School of Science. You will also serve as Station Director of the Balloon Launching Station in Alice Springs, collaborating with CSIRO, NASA and other agencies.
The role blends research leadership with teaching excellence and curriculum development. You will contribute to publications, supervise students, secure funding, and build strong international partnerships while advancing UNSW
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in atmospheric physics, electronics and/or stratospheric ballooning.
- Commitment to maintaining current disciplinary knowledge and developments.
- Ability to contribute to teaching and research activities.
Responsabilités
- Lead teaching and research within the School of Science.
- Develop and deliver curriculum while building research portfolios.
- Lead publications, supervise students, and secure research funding.
- Foster collaborations at national and international levels.
