Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety in Melbourne is seeking a dynamic leader to manage the Complex Interventions service area within Forensic Intervention Services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based interventions for offenders and drive service excellence across Victoria.

The role requires strategic input on rehabilitation and forensic interventions, and entails travel across the state to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex service delivery functions and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of forensic interventions or rehabilitation services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational, clinical and business service aspects of the Complex Interventions service area.
• Manage, support and develop a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and support staff.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure services align with best-practice standards and evidence-based approaches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Corrections Victoria and the justice sector.
• Provide expert strategic advice on offender rehabilitation and forensic interventions.
• Oversee performance, service targets, staffing and resource management to achieve organisational outcomes.
