Job summary

Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (WesCEF) in Kwinana seeks a Lead Project Engineer to drive capital projects from development through commissioning. You will manage scope, cost, schedule and safety while mentoring junior engineers and guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with relevant Project Management experience.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary EPC or EPCM brownfield projects.
• Knowledge of Australian/International standards (e.g., AS3000, AS2067) and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects through full life cycle from development to completion.
• Ensure project costs are managed and reported to company standards.
• Provide operational and technical support to internal customers.
• Maintain relationships with multi-discipline teams and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and coach developing Project Engineers on deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and company requirements.
• Research and draft procedures and reports on projects.
• Deliver innovative, low-cost solutions and drive safety improvements.
