Job summary

South32 seeks a Senior Project Lead Electrical for its Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role oversees a program of EIC capital and operational works to deliver safe, cost-effective outcomes from concept to handover on a 4/3 FIFO roster from Townsville or Brisbane.

You will champion safety, govern framework compliance, manage budgets and schedules, and lead stakeholders, teams and suppliers across project lifecycles to ensure robust, fit-for-purpose project delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive project leadership experience in brownfield resources environments.
• Proven oversight of large, concurrent project portfolios and complex priorities.
• Strong EIC technical knowledge, with remote project delivery experience.
• Effective stakeholder, team and supplier leadership across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safe culture aligned with South32 values and critical controls.
• Govern tollgate submissions, project changes and framework compliance.
• Control budgets, schedules, cash flow, risks and monthly program reports.
• Build stakeholder partnerships and support a high-performing project team.
