Job summary

AfterDark Technology, a Brisbane-based MSP, seeks a senior IT Systems Engineer/Project Engineer to lead Microsoft 365, Azure, and infrastructure projects for SMB and mid-market clients from Bowen Hills, QLD. You will manage migrations, Intune/Entra ID deployments, and hybrid environments while delivering secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Level 3/Infrastructure/MSP roles.
• Experience delivering IT infra and cloud projects end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams Voice, Windows Server, Fortinet.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft 365, Azure, and infrastructure projects for SMB and mid-market clients.
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations, Exchange Online migrations, and Microsoft 365 deployments.
• Deploy and manage Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and endpoint management solutions.
• Implement and support Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Configure and maintain Windows Server and core networking infrastructure.
• Deliver network refreshes and Fortinet firewall deployments.
• Assist with cybersecurity uplift, backups, and best-practice security.
• Onboard new clients and conduct technical discovery.
• Provide Level 3 escalation support as needed.
• Create and maintain technical docs and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operations and service delivery.
