Job summary

EHW Technology in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking a Senior IT Service Engineer / Systems Administrator to design, implement, and support complex client environments across servers, networks, and cloud platforms.

You will lead technical projects, mentor junior team members, and work closely with business owners and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure. Attendance at client sites and office is required.

Qualifications

At least 5 years in a senior IT role such as Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer.
Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
Strong Microsoft 365/Azure/Exchange/Intune administration skills.
Advanced networking knowledge (VLAN/routing).
Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining critical infra.
Solid cybersecurity, backup/DR, and resilience know-how.
Experience leading projects, migrations, upgrades, deployments.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving.
Strong communication with business owners and stakeholders.
Ability to mentor junior technicians.
Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
Full Australian working rights.
