Job summary

Allianz Technology in Sydney seeks an IT Delivery Lead on a day-rate contract. The role delivers major projects and programmes across Allianz business units, developing detailed plans, governance and milestones while coordinating diverse teams including vendors.

You will lead stakeholders, manage change, and negotiate favourable commercial terms, ensuring projects meet scope, time and budget objectives in a complex insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in a project management role in a complex matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large complex projects and business improvement initiatives within scope, time and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans in line with project management methodologies, track progress and report risks.
• Deliver governance, financial and milestone updates within agreed timelines.
• Identify, escape, manage and resolve project issues, risks and dependencies with stakeholders.
• Lead analysis of opportunities including data analysis, process analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
